Easter Weekend

We started out a fabulous Easter weekend with a shower for Rebecca on Saturday. B had to sneak over for the very end and soak up lots of attention from all of the ladies.

On Sunday morning, B woke up to his first Easter basket.

He was partial to the books over the huge stuffed bunny that I picked out for him despite the fact that it was twice his size. I have always been a sucker for stuffed animals. :)

We had lunch at Cici and Pop's house after church and B enjoyed some playtime with Pop after a good nap.

B loved his big "guck" and Peter Rabbit book from Cici and Pop.

After naptime, we hopped in the car to head to Gigi and Papa's...and were very excited about the trip!

Gigi and Papa had lots of exciting Easter treats waiting for B, which he loved playing with while we sat outside on the back porch. The eggs are still our favorite toy to tote around with us. :)

This Easter, we are especially grateful for our family and the sacrifice that was made for us on the cross. I can't wait for B to understand the true meaning of Easter!
