A Waldemar Wedding

On May 1, we traveled to Camp Waldemar in Hunt, Texas for Luke and Caroline's wedding. Not having been a camper as a child, I wasn't too sure what to expect. When we arrived, I could not believe how beautiful everything was. The cabins were up on a hill (with a/c I might add) and there was plenty of room for everyone. B got his first taste of the water and loved it. The entire weekend was full of fun activities and the wedding itself was perfect. B is so happy to welcome another aunt into the family. We were honored to take part in such a special event!

The weekend began with a little fun on the Guadalupe. There was kayaking, canoeing and lots of relaxing.

Then things heated up when the morning of the wedding started out with a Jurgensen (or Team Newlyneds) v. Everett softball game. It was so much fun. I am not sure of the final score b/c I had to take B up to nap but I think the Newlyneds came up short. Either way, everyone had a blast.

The rehearsal dinner was at sunset and everything turned out beautiful. I didn't get too many pictures as I was chasing B around most of the evening.

The wedding was set on the river and was like a scene out of a movie. The pictures don't do it justice.

Here comes the bride...
Mr. and Mrs. Luke Jurgensen!
You know you make me want to .... SHOUT!
