Introducing Michael and Rebecca Smith!

On May 8, Rebecca and Michael tied the knot and we had a fabulous weekend full of laughter, tears and special memories. After more than ten years of friendship, dating, not dating and long distance, the Lord brought them together in such a unique and perfect way. We could not be happier to welcome another brother into the family and B is thrilled to have another uncle! Oh, and not to mention that we needed a doctor in the family. :) Now, if you could just come a little closer to Texas.... :)

The weekend began with manicures and pedicures...thanks Mom!

Then it was off to a beautiful bridesmaids' luncheon. The hostesses made everything so personal and added so many special touches.
Aunt Barb and cousin Katy and Caroline

The lovely hostesses...
Each water glass had its own name tag

B finally got to join us at the rehearsal Friday night. He immediately reached for his new Uncle Mikey when he saw him.

He saved some lovin for his Uncle Matty too...

And then of course wanted no one but Pop as soon as he saw him...as always. :)

Rebecca and Michael at the rehearsal dinner...after several emotional speeches. :)

Then it was finally wedding day! I was so busy that I realized later I didn't get a ton of pictures during the day. I managed to snap a few as the photographer was taking pictures.

B had just started walking with a little help and we made a game time decision to let him walk down the aisle with Amanda and me rather than me carry him. I was SO nervous that it would end in screaming or rolling around on the floor but B really rose to the occasion. As soon as he saw the room full of people staring at him, he slapped on a smile and literally floated down the aisle. I could not have been more proud of him in that moment. :)

Uncle Matty was entertaining as usual while we took pictures after the ceremony.

B and the boys...

....and with the girls.

I decided it would be a good idea to stand on a folding chair to snap a pic of this gorgeous centerpiece. One bruised (I swear I don't know how the chair tipped over) tailbone later...and the picture doesn't even do it justice.

Having a blast ...

Does B look tired??

I wish I had more pictures of the bride and groom and the rest of the night but I was having too much fun to cart the camera around. It was truly one of the most fun weekends I've ever had. No more sisters to marry off. :) Now it's time for the babies! Ahem.....
